Order Processing & Shipping Time 

Once your order is placed, we will process and ship it as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed and dispatched within 2-3 business days. If your order is urgent or you have a special request, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. 

Shipping Costs 

For orders shipped to the 10 Canadian provinces (excluding remote-areas, see below): 

  • Free shipping for orders of CAD $99 or more (before taxes).
  • A flat shipping fee of CAD $35 applies to orders under CAD $99 (before taxes). 

For orders shipped to the 3 Canadian territories: 

  • A flat shipping fee of CAD $60 applies.
  • Additional charges may apply for remote or hard‐to‐reach areas (see below). 

 Please note: Shipping fees may be adjusted without prior notice.

Shipping Alternative: Local Pickup 

We offer free pickup for those in the Ottawa area. Once your order is processed and packaged, you will receive an email to set up a time for pickup. Upon arrival at the front of 317-1228 Old Innes Rd, please let us know your order number and we will retrieve your order.
 
Pickup is available only during these times: 
Monday - Friday 
1:00 – 4:00 PM

 

Shipping to Remote Areas 

“Remote areas” are defined as locations significantly distant from major cities or urban centres — for example, rural communities, islands, mountainous regions and locations with limited transport infrastructure. We deal with each order on a case-by-case basis, based on these factors: 

  • Service availability may be limited in some remote locations due to carrier restrictions or infrastructure. 

  • Delivery times to remote areas may be longer than typical. 

  • Additional fees may apply for remote shipments to reflect higher logistics cost; any such charges will be confirmed with you before finalizing the order. 

  • Carrier selection is based on their ability to provide timely and cost-effective service to these areas.   

  • In rare cases, delivery may not be feasible — if we determine that a location is not serviceable, we’ll contact you directly to discuss options. 

By adhering to this policy, Northern Drink Cart aims to provide equitable shipping services to all customers, regardless of their geographic location. We prioritize customer satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability in delivering orders to remote areas  

 

 

Package Liability & Delivered Shipments 

Once the parcel has been marked as delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for the package transfers to the recipient. 

  • If your package is stolen after delivery, we cannot offer a replacement or refund. 

  • We strongly recommend choosing a secure delivery location, monitoring your tracking information, and being available for delivery when possible. 

  • If your package is missing after delivery, we’re happy to assist by providing tracking data or delivery confirmation to help you file a claim with the carrier. 

 

Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us as soon as possible so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

 

Returns & Shipping for Returns
